This year’s full-day Muskoka Summit on the Environment will take place on Friday, October 4th, at the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre in Bracebridge. The central theme is Resilience, emphasizing the capacity of the watershed ecosystem to endure and recover from stress.
The summit intends to delve into the necessity of a more advanced approach to environmental management and strives to involve all members of the community in this endeavour, acknowledging that government action alone is insufficient. The event will feature multiple speakers, with dedicated time for questions and discussion, and will include lunch, dinner, and a social hour.
Join us this year to learn more about our environment’s resilience, the challenges it faces, and the actions required to preserve it over the next 40 years and beyond.
A draft agenda is available here. The agenda will be updated as details are confirmed.
